Assistance Services

OIC of Clark County provides the following assistance services to support families struggling to attain self-sufficiency. 

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA2) provides for necessary expenditures for households who have a pending eviction due to have experiencing a financial hardship directly or indirectly due to the pandemic, experiencing a reduction in household income qualifying for unemployment benefits, or experiencing homelessness.

Heating and cooling a home for a family on a fixed income can be difficult. OIC administers the Ohio Department of Development's Home Energy Assistance Program (LI-HEAP) to help Clark County families with home energy costs. The HEAP Program is a federally funded program that provides eligible households with emergency and level utility payment assistance.
